Kilchoman Sanaig is an Islay single malt matured for eight years and bottled at 46%. It is a vatting of two cask types, half bourbon and half sherry, and it is heavily peated.
The character is peat and fruit together, with touches of dark chocolate and raisins. On the nose there is stewed fruit, caramel and vanilla. The palate is peaty with citrus, and the finish balances smoke, fruit and richer, sweeter notes.
