Kilchoman Sanaig is a peated single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle. Kilchoman is the smallest distillery on the island and one of its newest. Sanaig is matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and bourbon casks.
Dark fruit, cocoa and peat show on the nose. The palate pairs caramel and vanilla from the bourbon wood with deeper notes of red fruit and chocolate from the sherry casks. The finish is long, with the peat returning alongside a light spice.
