This is an 11 year old Kilkerran bottled at cask strength for William Cadenhead's Authentic Collection. The whisky was distilled in 2010, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled in summer 2022, with 210 bottles released. The nose is waxy, with whipped cream and seaside pebbles. On the palate come Victoria sponge, apples and classic Scottish shortbread. The finish brings walnut skin, slightly burnt toast and apricot.
