Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt from the Glengyle distillery, bottled in 2026 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is lightly peated and double distilled, and the spirit was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose opens with a bright, zesty lift of citrus, reminiscent of lemon cheesecake, over a gentle oiliness. With time, subtle peat smoke appears alongside leather, warming spice and sweet toffee. The finish carries soft embers of peat, with lingering butterscotch and nutty sweetness.
