Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made without chill-filtration or added colouring, and matured in a combination of 70% bourbon casks and 30% sherry casks.
Oak leads on the nose, with toasted marshmallow, dried fruit pudding, cherry, marzipan and a hint of peat. The palate opens fruity, with citrus and orange peel, then vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuit. The finish is smooth and velvety with lemon meringue, ending oily and salty.
