Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a lightly peated Campbeltown single malt, non-chill filtered, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a combination of 70% bourbon casks and 30% sherry casks.
The nose is led by oak, followed by toasted marshmallows, dried fruit pudding, cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat. The palate opens fruity, with citrus and orange peel, then moves to vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits.
The finish is velvety and smooth, with lemon meringue, and ends with the oiliness and saltiness expected of a Campbeltown dram.
