Kilkerran 12 Years Old is a Campbeltown single malt from the Glengyle distillery, bottled at 46%. It is the first 12 year old whisky from Glengyle.
The nose offers clear oak, dried fruit, cherry and marzipan, with a hint of peat. The palate is fruity, with citrus, orange peel, vanilla, cream caramel and honey. The finish is long, velvety and smooth, with lemon meringue.
Salty notes, sea air and an oily texture run through it.
