Kilkerran 14 Year Old 2020 Rum Wood Christmas Edition is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was a Christmas bottling for staff, limited to 105 bottles.
The whisky was aged for 14 years in ex-rum casks.
The nose combines citrus, red berries and dried apricots with cardamom, sage and charred oak. On the palate there are honeyed vanilla and ripe pear in a creamy texture, with roasted nuts and a hint of molasses. The finish is long and warming, with cinnamon and toasted almond.
