Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a cask strength single malt from the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, released annually. It is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 55.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colouring.
The nose opens with zesty key lime pie and apple jelly, wrapped in honey and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with banoffee pie, vanilla custard and panna cotta.
The finish brings sea salt and brine, with a dry herbal note of gorse.
