A heavily peated Campbeltown single malt from Kilkerran, bottled in 2023 as the eighth batch in the Peat in Progress series. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured 90% in ex-bourbon casks and 10% in ex-sherry casks.
The nose is lightly mineral, with peat smoke from the first sniff and a malty, cereal note. On the palate there is orchard fruit, and the smoke grows stronger, with hints of campfire embers. The finish is long and sweet.
