Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 13 is a peated Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 58.4%.
The nose opens with creamy butterscotch and caramel, followed by rye bread and tea leaf. On the palate there is a familiar oiliness and smokiness, alongside Iberico ham and brandy snaps.
The finish is gentle, with lemon sherbet, honeycomb and mint, and peat smoke running through to the end.
