Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. It was bottled on 10 March 2026 at a cask strength of 58.3% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill-filtering.
The whisky is peated to around 45 ppm and was put together from 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks.
The nose offers honeycomb and wholemeal toast alongside grilled seafood and smoked bacon. The palate brings strong smoke, lemon shortbread, ham and melon. The finish is balanced, with peat smoke, lemon zest, icing sugar and a sweet, buttery mouthfeel.
