Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 4 is a Campbeltown single malt from the Glengyle distillery, released in 2021 as part of the Heavily Peated series. It is bottled at a cask strength of 58.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in 80% ex-bourbon and 20% ex-sherry casks. The nose is smoky and earthy with a little caramel, the palate honeyed and sweet with a hint of spice, and the finish long and smoky with a touch of woody dryness.
