Kilkerran Heavily Peated is a Campbeltown single malt, this one Batch No. 12, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with creamy butterscotch and caramel, then moves towards rye bread and tea leaf. On the palate there is a familiar oiliness and smokiness, alongside Iberico ham and brandy snaps. The finish is gentle, with lemon sherbet, honeycomb and mint, and peat smoke carrying through to the end.
