Killowen Rum & Raisin is a small-batch single malt Irish whiskey finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It comes from Killowen, a small craft distillery in Northern Ireland, and is bottled at 55% ABV, or 110 proof, in a 70cl bottle.
The PX casks bring a deep, dried-fruit richness to the whiskey.
On the palate it is raisin, dark sugar, dried fig and spice, with a rich sherry sweetness. The finish is long, warming and full.
