Kings County Peated Bourbon is a bourbon from the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The distillery describes it as the first peated bourbon.
The mashbill is 75% organic New York corn and 25% Scottish peated malt. It is double pot-distilled, then aged for 14 to 24 months in five-gallon charred new oak barrels.
Tasting notes describe bonfire and juicy corn on the nose. The palate brings buttered toast, raisins and caramel, and the finish is slightly smoky, with hints of biscuit and more sweet corn.
