A straight bourbon from Kings County Distillery, made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City. It is aged four to six years in new charred oak and bottled at 45% in a 750ml bottle.
The distillery double-distils in copper pot stills, working from a mash of 80% New York organic corn and 20% English Golden Promise barley, with no rye or wheat in the recipe. Everything is mashed, fermented, distilled and aged on site.
Tasting notes mention sweet caramel, fresh vanilla and dark berry spice, with a creamy, full-bodied character.
