Hips is a blended Japanese whiskey produced by Kirin-Seagram and dating from the 1980s. It is bottled at 40% ABV and comes in a 72cl bottle. It is presented in the aesthetic of a bourbon, possibly a nod from Kirin to their longtime business partners, Seagram, on the other side of the Pacific. The pairing of the two company names gives the whiskey its Kirin-Seagram label.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
