Kirk and Sweeney Gran Reserva Superior is an aged rum from the Dominican Republic, bottled in 75cl. It has a deep amber colour with iridescent copper highlights.
The aroma is of dried fruits and sweet toasted bread, with toffee, fresh honey and caramelised sugar underneath, and a faint touch of almonds and vanilla. On the palate it moves from fresh, sweet sensations towards dried fruit, with vanilla and sherry notes along the way.
The finish runs from caramel to sherry, ending on a balanced mix of almond and vanilla.
