Knob Creek 100 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Knob Creek 100 Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Jim Beam, bottled at 50% in a 75cl bottle. It was the first of the Small Batch Bourbon Collection created by Booker Noe. Noe wanted to bring back the pre-Prohibition style, so the bourbon is aged in deeply charred white oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof without dilution. The name comes from the small Kentucky creek that ran through Abraham Lincoln's childhood farm. The nose is rich oak with brown sugar and caramel. The palate is full-bodied, sweet and woody with a slightly fruity quality, and the finish is long and rich.
