Knob Creek 12 Year Old is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is aged for 12 years in new charred American oak, in the pre-Prohibition style of American whiskey that Knob Creek was created to recapture.
The nose is deep oak and vanilla with caramel, toasted nuts and baking spice. On the palate come brown sugar, dark caramel and vanilla, then clove, cinnamon and mature oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering oak and sweet spice.
