Knob Creek 18 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon, aged for 18 years in new charred American white oak at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It is the oldest Knob Creek released, a limited-edition bottling that marks the brand's 30th anniversary in autumn 2022. The long maturation gives it a rich copper colour.
The tasting notes describe a nose of brown sugar and aged oak with char and caramel. The palate is full-bodied, with caramelised oak, sweet vanilla and baking spice, leading to a warm finish with spice and slight floral and fruit notes.
