Knob Creek 18 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It was released as a Limited Time Offering and extends Booker Noe's pre-Prohibition approach to an 18-year age statement.
The bourbon spent those 18 years in deeply charred American oak at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky.
The nose is deep seasoned oak, dark caramel and vanilla with baking spice. The palate is full-bodied and oak-forward, with caramel, toffee and spice, and the finish is long and warming.
