Knob Creek 2001 Limited Edition is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont. It spent over 14 years in deeply charred white oak barrels, which made it the oldest Knob Creek expression at the time of its release. It was produced in three limited batches and is bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. The long time in oak is what the producer credits for its deeper caramel, dark fruit and leather character. The nose is described as deep caramel, dark oak and vanilla. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied, with caramel, toffee, dark dried fruit and warm oak spice, followed by a long, robust finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
