Knob Creek 21 Year Old Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Knob Creek 21 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon, aged for 21 years in new charred American oak at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont. It is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle, as a limited edition. Booker Noe created Knob Creek in 1992 as a return to pre-Prohibition bourbon, with higher proof and longer ageing. For this release each barrel was hand-selected by the brand's team of master distillers. The nose offers caramelised sugar, oaky spice and subtle smoke. On the palate there is robust caramel and fruit over deep layers of oak, and the finish is warm, with lingering toffee and charred wood.
