Knob Creek Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, matured for seven years in deeply charred new American oak and bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky.
The mash bill sits just above the legal 51% rye minimum, with a sizeable share of corn for balance. The seven-year age statement returned to the label in 2024, after a spell without one.
The notes describe black pepper balanced with sweet vanilla and caramel, followed by a finish of lingering oak and rich spice.
