A nine-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. This is the Independence Edition of Knob Creek, a packaging release for America's 250th anniversary that also marks the Fourth of July. Booker Noe named Knob Creek after the small creek near Abraham Lincoln's birthplace and childhood home in central Kentucky. He created it for the Jim Beam Small Batch Collection to recall the long-aged, high-proof bourbon made before Prohibition. The whiskey is matured in deeply charred American oak, and the Small Batch Collection is now overseen by his son Fred Noe at James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
