Knob Creek Independence Edition is a nine-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. It was aged in American white oak.
The edition honours America's 250th anniversary. It is the first time the brand's signature wax seal has changed colour: the seal is blue, and the label is red, white and blue.
Knob Creek takes its name from the Kentucky creek at Abraham Lincoln's childhood home, and was founded to revive pre-Prohibition bourbon.
