This is a limited edition Kentucky straight bourbon from Knob Creek, part of the Jim Beam family, released as Batch 2 in 2001. It is aged for fourteen years, five years longer than the standard Knob Creek, and comes in a 75cl bottle.
The release marks the handing over of the role of Master Distiller from Booker Noe to his son Fred. The longer maturation builds on the usual Knob Creek profile with deeper oak integration and a richer character.
