Knob Creek Rye (50%)

Knob Creek Rye is a straight rye whiskey from Knob Creek, a brand in the Jim Beam family. It was introduced in 2012 and is bottled at 100 proof, which is 50% vol. The colour is a deep amber. The nose brings cracked rye grain, green apple and charred oak, with a hint of smoky syrup. On the palate there is light rye grain, white pepper, citrus rind, vanilla and pine, with a gentle spiciness. The finish carries rye spice, sweet vanilla and oak.
