Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged nine years in new charred American oak and bottled at 60% in a 75cl bottle. It was made at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky.
Each bottling comes from a single hand-picked barrel and is never blended across barrels, so it keeps the character of that one barrel at full strength. It is the first single barrel release from Knob Creek, the brand created by Booker Noe.
The nose is robust vanilla and caramel, slightly smoky. Vanilla, nuts and oak run through a full, warm palate, and the finish is long, with the warmth lingering.
Tasting Notes
Robust vanilla and caramel, slightly smoky
Deep and complex, vanilla, nuts and oak, full warm body
Long and full, the warmth lingering
