Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve Kentucky Bourbon 9 Year Old (75cl, 60%)

This is a nine-year-old single barrel Kentucky bourbon from Knob Creek, bottled at 60% ABV (120 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The colour is a deep, dark amber with the tone of old oak. It is a strong bourbon, yet it is described as drinking smoothly for its strength, and a little water or an ice cube can open up its character. The nose brings vanilla and oak. On the palate there are vanilla, caramel and smoky notes, leading to a long, full finish.
