Knob Creek Sixth Floor Sweetness Single Barrel Kentucky Rye Whiskey (75cl, 57.5%)

This is a single barrel Kentucky rye whiskey from Knob Creek, bottled at 57.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The barrel was matured high in the rick house, on the sixth floor, where the summer heat is intense. It is named after its floor and its dominant character, which here is sweetness. The high position gave a rich flavour and a high proof. Vanilla, brown sugar and oak spices run through the whiskey, and the finish brings cinnamon and clove with a blast of heat from the strength.
