Knob Creek Small Batch Kentucky Rye is a seven-year-old rye whiskey bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It meets the technical criteria for rye, with a mash bill of at least 51% rye.
The flavours are sweet and caramelly, with bold almond, oak, brown butter and pecan pie. The finish is drying, with baking spice, and has less bite than a 100-proof spirit might suggest.
