Knob Creek Smoked Maple is a Kentucky straight bourbon blended with natural smoked maple flavours, bottled at 45% ABV by the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky.
Introduced in 2013, it was the first flavoured release from Knob Creek. It was made as a tribute to the brand's founder, Booker Noe, and his fondness for smoked meats and homemade maple syrup.
In the glass it is copper to medium amber. The nose offers smoked hickory and maple wood with earthy grain. The palate is full-bodied, with maple lifting into smoke, alongside vanilla and caramel. The finish is smoky, smooth and slightly sweet.
