Kojiki Japanese Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Kojiki Japanese Whisky is a 40% whisky in a 750ml bottle, distilled at the Kojiki Distillery on the shores of Lake Biwa in the Kansai region, near Kyoto. It is twice distilled in pot stills from a mash of 40% barley, 30% wheat and 30% corn, with part of the barley peated. The whisky spent three years in bourbon barrels, then three months in Sauternes casks and four months in Champagne casks. It is described as having wheat bread, orange peel, white peach and cotton candy, with honey from the Sauternes finish.
