Kopke Fine White Port (19.5%)

A white port from Kopke, a house founded in 1638 in the Douro Valley. It is a blend of wines of different ages from traditional regional grapes, with fermentation stopped by grape spirit to keep some natural sugar. It is aged in stainless steel tanks and wooden casks for at least three years and bottled at 19.5% abv. The colour is pale gold. The nose is expressive, with citrus, ripe fruit and honey. The palate is soft and velvety, balanced by lemony freshness, and the finish is fine and slightly tangy, with lingering fruit.
