Koval Rye Maple Syrup Cask Finish is an organic rye whiskey in a 50cl bottle, produced in a limited run of 209 bottles. It was matured in American oak, then finished for six months in a cask that had held maple syrup. On the nose it is sweet, with vanilla, oak and maple syrup. The palate is fresh and soft, with candied fruit, cinnamon, coconut and toffee, leading to a long, spicy finish of black pepper and star anise.
