Koval – Single Barrel Four Grain Whiskey (75cl, 47%)

Koval Single Barrel Four Grain is an American whiskey from Illinois, bottled from a single barrel at 94 proof in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled from a mash bill of oat, malted barley, rye and wheat, using grain from a local farmer collective in the Midwest. Only the heart cut of the distillate is kept, with no heads or tails. The whiskey is aged in heavily charred new oak barrels from Minnesota. The tasting notes describe a banana nose, a creamy palate and a spicy finish.
