Krug Grande Cuvée 173rd Edition is a multi-vintage Brut Champagne from Maison Krug, founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug. It blends Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, drawing on wines from more than a dozen vintages.
The colour is a luminous pale gold with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose shows toasted almonds, hazelnuts, citrus peel and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is generous and layered, with ripe pear, brioche, honey, subtle spice and a mineral undertone, leading to a long, elegant finish.
