This is a peated new make spirit from Kuju Distillery in Japan, 15 months old and bottled at 55% ABV in a 20cl bottle. It is the first Kuju release to use peated raw liquor.
The spirit was matured in bourbon barrels, and only a few carefully selected barrels were blended together.
The nose brings grapefruit, white flowers, herbs, vanilla and mature peat. On the palate there is green apple, lemon candy, rich sweetness and ginger syrup. The finish is complex, with gentle peat smoke and acidity.
