Kurvball Original Barbecue Whiskey is a barbecue-flavoured whiskey from Wisconsin, bottled at 34% ABV (68 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It starts as an American bourbon distilled from corn, rye and barley and matured for three years in oak barrels.
The whiskey is then infused with natural barbecue-inspired flavours and caramel colouring.
The nose is barbecue sauce, smoked mesquite and a brisket-like smokiness over honey and brown sugar. The palate is thick and almost syrupy, with honey-barbecue sweetness and smoky undertones. The finish is long and sweet, ending in dry smoke and charred wood.
