Kyrö Malt Rye is a Finnish rye whisky from the Kyrö Distillery Company, which was set up by five friends in a former dairy in the village of Isokyrö. It is a single batch whisky made from 100 per cent malted Finnish rye.
It is distilled twice and matured in new American white oak casks. The nose has vanilla, caramel, apricot and sultanas. The palate brings sweet rye, honey, dark chocolate and wild berries. The finish is peppery with rye, balanced by caramel and quince.
