This is a 1999 vintage Armagnac from Domaine Cutxan (L'Encantada), bottled at 44.3% in a 50cl bottle.
The nose combines red forest fruit, dark and milk chocolate, damson jellies, sweet oak, spice, blackcurrant and vanilla. On the palate ripe dates, prunes and mulberry jam open the way for a vanilla and honey texture, then toasted walnuts, dark fruit, dark chocolate and a hint of wood spice. The finish is smooth and lingering.
