A fragrant red from Umani Ronchi, expressing the grape that characterises the denomination. It is ruby with violet reflections, with floral notes of fresh petals, strawberry, raspberry and small red fruits, plus spicy hints and sometimes a subtle mineral note. The palate is slender and flowing, supported by lively acidity and soft tannins, with a balanced and pleasant finish. It is best enjoyed young, with lightly cured salumi, delicate tomato sauces, light white meats and fresh cheeses.
