Refill ex-peated Islay octave finish
This Teaninich is an 11 year old single cask from the Highlands, bottled by Lady of the Glen at 58.2% ABV in 2026 as a US exclusive. Only 55 bottles were filled. After maturing in a hogshead, it was finished in a refill octave that previously held peated Islay whisky. The small cask gives quick contact with the wood. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Butterscotch, sweet peat smoke and caramelised apple cake mark the nose, alongside winter spices and dried fruit. The palate brings vanilla cream, peppered strawberry and chocolate brownie. The finish is barbecued pineapple, root ginger and liquorice, drying towards oak and smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
