A 48 year old Lowland single malt from Ladyburn, distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2022 by Blackadder at 44.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is Statement Edition #52 in the Raw Cask series.
The whisky comes from a single bourbon cask, which gave 96 bottles. It has not been filtered at all and may contain harmless cask sediment.
Ladyburn was built in 1966 within William Grant & Sons' Girvan grain complex and was dismantled in 1975, when the grain side of the operation needed to expand.
