Lagavulin 10 Year Old is an Islay whisky matured for ten years in carefully chosen casks. It has a heavily peated, layered character.
The nose combines peat smoke and sea air with vanilla and caramel. The palate is rich, setting the sweetness of ripe fruit against black pepper and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with spice and a pleasant smokiness.
