Lagavulin 12 Year Old 2013 Release is an Islay single malt, matured for twelve years and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is complex, recalling a campfire on the rocky, salty west coast of Scotland while sucking penny toffees and lemon sherbets.
On the palate, toffee sweetness is balanced by savoury notes of wet stone, brine, woody herbs and black pepper. The finish keeps the campfire smoke and adds bittersweet chocolate and raspberry jam.
