This is the 2015 release of Lagavulin 12 Year Old, a single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is the 13th release in the series.
The nose has citrus oil, cedar wood and embers, with warming spice. On the palate the peat is delicate, with a rounded character from buttered toast and toffee richness, and a touch of dunnage floor adds depth of flavour.
